New Zealand

Tonight H and I had fresh Scottish trout and I had some nice Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. It’s worth remarking about, as I do love wine and (edit:used to) manage a website called MagnumWines a wine auction website. Well for a white wine to go with fish, across the board it seems NZ really knows how to make a good Sauvignon Blanc. Tonight’s was called Nobilo Five Fathoms but I have loved Villa Mariaas well. I highly recommend a nicely chilled bottle with fish. I think I’ll pour another glass!

Ripe Sauvignon blanc grapes.

I’d like to know what other Sauvignon Blancs from new Zealand are good. Anyone care to comment and tell me your favorites?
