After trying a few recipes, I have landed on this one on the BBC that made really good pancakes this fine Sunday morning. I used butter in the mix rather than oil, and I think it gives them that nice sharp edge they need.

Wow interesting, I laid do to bed at around 1 am, and I heard a light pop, and a rush of a wind as if a door had opened, and then felt the bed swaying. I thought it odd that the wind could shake this building so much, as it is quite new and wide, and it didn’t seem that the wind was that strong. As well the swaying went on a lot longer than the feeling of when wind shakes a building. Then woke up this morning and heard on Radio 2 that we had an Earthquake, and realized right away that that was what I had experienced.
