Back from OR10 in Madrid, and what a great conference it was. Seeing colleagues from aroundthe globe and meeting new ones, all mixed into the wonderful setting that is Madrid, and against backdrop of the Spain Germany Semi Final in the World Cup.

I gave a presentation on Integrating Multilingualism into an Institutional Repository along with Yousef Elbes from WHO and Hayden Young of Wijiti that was well-received and hopefully inspiring to other repository managers to implement multilingualism

Sea Your History Official Royal Opening

HRH meeting MG

We had a royal opening of the Sea Your History Exhibition and HRH Princess Anne visited and met withe principle creators, self included, and with various visiting dignitaries and invited guests. My daughter Helena was on hand to present her with the posy, as was my mother to be with Helena. A lovely day for all, and the Princess seemed genuinely to be enjoying herself. As she was leaving the reception in the museum, Helena who I was carrying at face level, called after her, “Bye Princess!” to which she turned to look at Helena and raised her eyebrows and smiled broadly as all the guests chuckled. Classic unscripted moment.
