Back from OR10 in Madrid, and what a great conference it was. Seeing colleagues from aroundthe globe and meeting new ones, all mixed into the wonderful setting that is Madrid, and against backdrop of the Spain Germany Semi Final in the World Cup.

I gave a presentation on Integrating Multilingualism into an Institutional Repository along with Yousef Elbes from WHO and Hayden Young of Wijiti that was well-received and hopefully inspiring to other repository managers to implement multilingualism

OpenOffice 3.0 Final ready for download | Hardware 2.0 | ZDNet.com.

I have been using OpenOffice for nearly 2 years now for any kind of document handling that has any similar equivalnet in the other office suites, notably Microsoft Office version whatever. I used to be an early adpter of all things MS, but now I am pure OpenOffice and have no need for paying those rediculus license costs for every upgrade.

This version 3.0 is going to be incredible I bet. Downloading now and about to install.
